- 4 nights accommodation at the Hotel Giorgione, Venice, Italy (check-in Thursday 23rd October, check-out Monday 27th October 2014)
Payment Policy:
We request a non-refundable deposit of £150 per person (runners) upon booking. Non-runners will be required to pay a deposit of £100 at the time of booking. Your booking will be considered confirmed only upon receipt of the deposit.
We will hold a provisional booking for up to 10 days for you. At the end of this period the deposit becomes due, or your place will no longer be held.
The balance is due no later than 6 weeks prior to the departure date. Non-payment of the balance will result in your booking being treated as cancelled. If the package is booked with less than 6 weeks to go before you travel, full payment will be due when booking.
Cancellation Policy:
The £150 deposit (£100 for non-runners) is non-refundable.
Should you be unable to participate in the Venice Marathon due to injury it is possible to transfer your race number to another runner or to push your place over to the 2015 race upon payment of a small fee. A medical certificate will be necessary to complete the race number transfer.
We may, in some instances, be able to put your custom training program on hold should you suffer an injury and be unable to complete the program and particpate in the Venice marathon. This will be judged on an individual basis, and remains at the discretion of Running4you. A medical certificate may be required.
Cancellation Fees:
- More than 6 weeks (42 days) prior to the event – initial deposit held, no further charges due.
- 3-6 weeks (21- 42 days) prior to the event – 50% cancellation fee applied.
- Less than 3 weeks (21 days) prior to the event – no refund, 100% fees apply.
If you have an insurance policy and the reason for cancellation is covered by the policy, you may be able to reclaim some or all of the costs.
Travel Insurance
Running4you Ltd is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal items nor for any personal accident or injury. We advise you to take out personal insurance against cancellation charges, loss or injury. It is your responsibility to organise your own personal travel and health insurance and to ensure you have a valid passport for your trip.
You should have a clean bill of health before travelling and not be suffering from any illness or injury. If in any doubt, you should seek qualified medical advice from your GP.
Amendments to the Program
It is highly unlikely that we will have to make any changes to the program. Very occasionally, however, we may obliged to do so (e.g. changes to itineraries, venue accommodation, team members or other arrangements), which we reserve the right to do at any time. Changes are normally minor and we will advise you at the earliest possible date. If your accommodation has to be changed, we will do our utmost to provide accommodation of a similar or higher rating. If a significant change becomes necessary, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible if there is time before your departure. Should a significant change occur, then provided that it does not arise through circumstances amounting to force majeure (see below), you will have the choice of either accepting the change of arrangements, transfering to an alternative package or requesting a full refund.
Complaints
If you have a problem during your holiday, please inform a member of our team immediately, who will endeavour to put things right. If your complaint cannot be resolved locally, you must advise us in writing on your return. Please note that we cannot guarantee the proportion of male/female in any group, not be responsible for the individual behaviour of any group member or other guest at your accommodation.
EHIC:
We recommend that UK residents obtain an EHIC Form from www.ehic.uk.com. This entitles you to health care within the EU (subject to conditions). This replaces the old E111 form.
Force Majeure:
We regret we cannot accept liability, pay compensation or refunds where the performance of our obligations are affected by Force Majeure. Force Majeure means any event which we or any of our 3rd party suppliers of the services provided on our trips could not foresee or avoid. Such events may include war, terrorist activity, adverse weather conditions, fire, health concerns and all similar events outside of our control.
Note:
These terms and conditions may be updated by Running4you at any time and will be made available online immediately.
